My Story

In my journey I have been a teacher, a business owner and a business coach. All my life experiences have helped me build a unique approach to helping small business owners reach their success potential.

I began my career as an educator, and my perspective on coaching originated with this training. Eventually, I helped start Jesse James Antique Mall, Rusty Chandelier and Jesse’s Last Stop convenience store. In 2007, I was able to use my entrepreneurial experience to help others in my role leading Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation.

In 2014, I became the Founding Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Missouri Western State University where I continued to coach entrepreneurs. I am very active with Cup of Joe entrepreneur program , Leadership Savannah, and Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation. I was honored to be named in Ingram’s 50 People to Know in Missouri in 2018.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to assist entrepreneurs throughout my career, and I would love to help you build and grow your own successful business.
